0→1 Product Design
Lucien began as deeply technical security infrastructure: an on-premise appliance designed to inspect AI traffic before it reaches the model. The design challenge was turning that capability into a product security teams and AI dev labs could actually understand, configure, and trust.
I worked across the entire physical-digital experience, from the hardware and product architecture to the Web Console, security workflows, and system administration.
Designing beyond the browser
Hardware & Infrastructure
Lucien isn't just software. It runs as an on-premise appliance, which meant the experience had to extend from the browser all the way down to the hardware and system administration.
I designed those surfaces as one product giving teams a visual Web Console for everyday operation and a constrained command-line interface for configuration, troubleshooting, and recovery.

Taking Lucien from rack research and early hardware concepts through the physical identity of a deployable enterprise appliance.
